I have had the pleasure of building two homes with these clients who are both corporate executives. Their number one love is their adorable Cavapoo named Pepper (who always has the final say on every decision we make).
This home is located in Intown, Atlanta. The area is known for its historic homes and family-friendly amenities. New builds require big dreams. From the foundation, it was important to the clients for this new build to blend in with the history of the neighborhood. I worked with the clients and their architect to bring a home to life that embodied modern practicality with a “touch of Tudor.’
The unique front door, custom-designed Tudor windows, and exterior gothic iron railing reflect this architectural period. Custom mahogany panels and a coved plaster ceiling radiate a European ambiance in the dining room.
The furnishings and art range from traditional to modern, which bring out the home’s layered and eclectic character.
The home was designed with hospitality in mind. One of the homeowners is a chef who enjoys gourmet cooking. We created a kitchen that can support parties, gatherings, and cookouts.
The basement boasts a workout room, a steam and sauna shower, and a ping pong table to tempt your inner child. A welcoming screened porch is a beautiful extension of the home with serene garden views that provide a perfect space for outdoor living.
